This little scene comes from Joe Casey's extraordinarily well-written Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, a mini-series from the early 2000's that re-imagines the earliest days of the Avengers team. As you might expect, I especially love how Casey handles Tony's role as the liaison between the Avengers and the US government -- and how he depicts Tony's profound love for the team and its mission. Overall, thanks to moments like the above, you get the sense that this creator profoundly respects Tony Stark as a character -- and knows how he was originally conceived. A+.
