Above are some captures (edited together by yours truly) from Captain America/Iron Man #1. This issue was mainly plot set-up, so it's hard to judge whether I will like this miniseries or not. I will say this, though: despite the first few pages (which feature Tony getting dressed after an implied one night stand with the antagonist), Landy does successfully avoid depicting my boy as an arrogant cad (which would not have aligned with the classic Tony Stark the writer claims he's trying to capture). Instead, throughout, we see Tony taking responsibility for his bad decisions and working hard to do the right thing. 

At any rate, Landy's interviews regarding this comic have generated enough good will that I'm willing to stick with this to see where this goes. Watch this space for more updates as the story evolves!
