My dudes on YouTube are right about this idea: this is Tony marrying his abuser. Patsy has spent Can't-Write-Well's entire run nagging and berating Tony for so-called "faults" he doesn't really have. And while I can totally see Tony submitting to this - because he does actually suck at picking lovers - Can't-Write-Well clearly thinks an Iron Man/Hellcat match-up is just great and not a self-destructive move on Tony's part.
