Justin Hammer discovers Ant Man sneaking around his servers, learns that Tony has sent him, and then forces Tony to remove his armor and don a slave collar. Now under Hammer's control, Tony attacks SHIELD and the Avengers:
Then Hammer compounds the injury by forcing Tony to bombard Stark Enterprises, critically injure his best friend, and incinerate his own home:
After these humiliations, Tony manages to escape. But what is he going to do now? Once again, he's lost everything -- and really doesn't have anyone to turn to:
Ultimately, Tony assembles a group of villains who are using Stark tech and convinces them to forge an alliance of convenience to defeat Hammer:
Tony prevails -- but that doesn't mean he won't face the music for his unprovoked attacks on SHIELD, the Avengers, and Stark Enterprises:
Poor Tony. Here, Hammer hits him right where he lives by robbing him of his control. It's basically a replay of Demon in a Bottle -- but a thousand times worse. If we were to continue following this particular alternate universe, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Tony struggled to stay sober.
