As I suggested in yesterday's post, I think this Captain America/Iron Man miniseries is, as a whole, a little too suffused with trendy irony. That being said, I do like stuff like this. I can tell that Derek Landy is really trying to reconcile what he's read in the older comics with the Current Year status quo, and I appreciate his effort -- even if, as of yet, it's not 100% successful.
