By the way, you know what also happened over the holidays? A few of my takes on Tony Stark went quasi-viral. It all started with this tweet:
This looks promising. Tony absolutely would respond to kindness this way. Makes me think @DerekLandy might get this right in the end... pic.twitter.com/AtQZ9fGXMd

What I was responding to there was the preview for the Captain America/Iron Man issue that, I believe, is dropping tomorrow. Landy's dialogue is, at times, a little too cutesy-modern for me, but I like that Tony is portrayed as resistant to compliments, and I definitely like that Steve calls him out specifically for hiding behind facades.
What happened next? Landy himself responded:
I read a LOT of Iron Man in the year leading up to this project being offered to me, and it struck me how nice Tony really was and how deep this friendship ran. I’d had enough of Steve-Tony conflict- I just wanted them to be pals again! https://t.co/mht0h6DDxk

That then prompted me to write this mini-thread:
How do you win over a passionate Iron Man fan (who, BTW, also loves Captain America)? Be like this writer. 👇 https://t.co/7K0UAhXTh4

After which we were off to the races! All the Zoomer Tony stans on Twitter noticed my commentary via the Landy-Launch, and my mailbox has been pretty busy since then. Heh.
I wonder what will happen once I've had a chance to read the full issue?
